I can't paint or draw to save my life, but I sure would love to! The solution? Printing pictures on heavy art paper with an ink jet printer and then painting over it with craft acrylics - the only trick is to have a copy of the photo by your side, because once you accidentally mess something up you actually have to rely on your own abilities to fix it! In fact, the painting of the kids turned out to be mostly me :-)
